sterling silver.
The
more you use sterling silver, the less you have to clean
it. Use a silver cloth on decorative items. Wash serving
ware by hand in a gentle scent-free and phosphate-free detergent
and dry immediately with a soft cotton towel.
Don't
use toothpaste or dried up liquid silver polish. Never put
silver in the dishwasher. Do not put rubber bands or plastic
wrap around silver flatware.
Polish
yellowed silver with a natural sea sponge. A good polish
for frequently used silver is Hagerty's Silver Foam.
To
prevent tarnish, use Hagerty's Silver Protection Strips.
The strips tarnish first before your silver pieces.
Store
silver in a felt bag or zip-lock bag. |
